  Fanshawe winter term ended on Wednesday.Your Wade Collars were successful with each student. I am usually skeptical of "the next best thing" in dog training. I have 2 very high strung dominant Shetland sheepdogs. They are wonderful dogs for a dog trainer but to much for the average Sheltie owner. I tested your collar out on both Shelties with great success. I have taught for over 20 years and the constant struggle trying to get regular training collars that fit properly and kept is position has been daunting.   I got my new Wade collar and I tried it on my dog Sally. WOW! What a difference! The fact that it doesn't slide down the neck makes a big difference in handling my dog Sally  (Labernese). She was walking ok before, but going to public places like the pet food store was a different story. She pulled on the leash a lot and had her nose constantly on the ground. The result was that I had to really pull back hard on the leash to get her attention and get her to listen. She didn't like, it got in the way of her trachea , and it was frustrating for me. • I have taken the time today, to walk Sable with your collar.  WOW!  I cannot believe the difference.  With just minor corrections she actually walks/heels to my knee.  Even when walking into the dog park area, where she normally pulls in excitement, NO issue!  I am so surprised I can’t even explain.  I wish I had known about this collar months ago, instead of trying to manage Sable with the prong collar (which didn’t work btw). • Dear John, I just got back from a walk with my dog Bogie........7 1/2 month old yellow lab......using the collar that I purchased from you. Normally there is a race to see which one of us gets out the gate first, but to-day, with just a little tug, Bogie stopped and waited for me to tell him when he could go through the gate. He has had puppy training at Pet Smart that included some loose leash walking............he was a 5 out of 10 in that regard, but to-day, using the collar, he's already at an 8.........I'm impressed! Now when he stops to sniff and plants himself, a slight tug and he looks to me for direction. He didn't dislocate my shoulder to-day. Just a slight tug also slows him down. • I received a Wade collar for our pet American Toy Fox Terrier named "Roxie" in late July. It arrived promptly (ordered and arrived while I was vacationing in Canada) and in good condition and I downloaded the information from the link in the e-mail which is from your e-book, a welcome bonus.The collar is great!  We were using a typical pet store "harness" type arrangement for our dog (we didn't know any better), however when we had her in puppy training we switched to a stainless steel link type "choke" collar.  I found your sizing of collars to be on the generous side and it is no problem, it fits well. We probably could have used a smaller one but I am not very worried about that as it is quite easy to put on and take off compared to the steel link choke collar.I used the choke collar for sizing and added one inch so that is my fault, but honestly, it is so easy to get it on and off Roxie it isn't a worry.Both we and Roxie find the Wade collar to be beneficial for the following reason.

•  We live in the tropics (Mexico) and the "fabric" collar seems more comfortable for Roxie with less abrasion. The spring clip/stop arrangement is easy to adjust both at home and outside at the park, in the street, on the beach etc..., it slips on without any effort or problems, a really easy collar to use!The same clip/stop makes it easier to correctly position the collar and doesn't require constant attention and tension like a conventional choke collar.The price is fair and your customer service is terrific.The product is of very good quality.You really do get what you pay for with the Wade collar and that is not always the case with pet products!It is very strong, yet light in weight.

• So, after just 1 hour with Carol (her trainer) and the WadeCollar, Deke has become unbelievably amazing on a leash.  I had to check several times on our walk tonight to make sure that it was actually Deke I was walking.  There was no pulling whatsoever and he was even looking at me ocassionally to see what I was going to do.  (either that or he was giving me dirty looks for putting a stop to his antics!)  His recall has improved.  His stay has improved (he set his own personal best record tonight of a whole 32 seconds!!!!!!).  And I actually got him to the down position without too much of a struggle.  We only had mild distractions - people, leaves, cars but still he kept focused for the most part.WOW!  Can't wait to walk him tomorrow....I am still in shock. - Michelle
