1. How do I measure my dog for a collar?

Watch the video to the right or take a tailor's tape measure wrap it gently around the largest part of your dog's head. No tailor's tape measure? Then take a piece of string or light rope and wrap it gently around the largest part of your dog's skull and mark the place where the end meets the rest of the string. Then measure the string with a ruler or construction tape measure. Do this twice to be sure, particularly if your dog is a wiggler.
